Service Learning courses are offered during every quarter at Cal Poly. The following list of courses are courses that are offered most regularly. This list is not inclusive of all course offerings! There are many other courses available, and the set of classes offered depends on the academic quarter.
 
Development of new service learning courses have been co-sponsored by California Campus Compact (CACC) and Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) Learn and Serve America (LSA) Higher Education.
Building Partnerships for a Better California: Faculty Development Subgrant & CACC-Carnegie Faculty Fellowship (Subcontract #C7-94330)

Instructors: Sema Alptekin, Clare Battista, Patrice Engle, Bud Evans, Dianne Long, and Peter Schwartz. This three-course series will give students the basic skills and understanding to respond to particular design challenges with "appropriate" solutions, which are inexpensive, ecologically sustainable, and institutionally adaptable.
